OCMS is proud of our involvement with the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. We promote the involvement of organized medicine to all our young physicians, residents, fellows and medical students. Many serve on our committees and participate in group events throughout the year. The four-year membership for medical students includes your AMA, state and county dues for $88. One fee for your four years!

Medical students and residents can now access the New Physician's Guide to the Future, a 44-page resource released by the Michigan State Medical Society and the Michigan Osteopathic Association. The joint publication provides detailed guidance and information about concerns and challenges new physicians will encounter when moving into any type of practice arrangement including licensure, contracting, and insurance, among many others.
