Donald Peven, MD
Pathology

Donald Peven,
MD is the Vice-Chief of Laboratories for the Department
of Pathology at St Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital
in Pontiac. He is board certified by the American
Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
He received his medical degree in 1981 from
the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor and did
his residency in pathology at Northwestern University Medical School
in Chicago.
Dr. Peven is also an Associate Pathologist
at North Oakland Medical Center in Pontiac and St Joseph Mercy Hospital
Macomb in Mount Clemens. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at
the Wayne State School of Medicine in Detroit.
He is a member of the Michigan Society of
Pathologists, the American Medical Association, the
Michigan State Medical Society, where he serves on the
delegation committee, the state legislation and
regulation committee, and the reference committee on
ways & means. He has been a member of the Oakland
County Medical Society’s board of directors since 2003
and was the 2010 president. |
